La Fresca Margarita Cheese

Description

An organic “queso fresco” inspired by our travels in Spain, and Latin America.  It is available Salted and Unsalted.  It’s a lemony, fresh cheese, which is equally good drizzled with honey (as developed by our friends at Durslade Farmshop with their homegrown Somerset honey) and figs (the unsalted version), or used as a filling in a Mexican tacos (the salted one).  People are telling us it makes the most divine cheesecakes as well.  We say it really is best eaten within two weeks of make, though it will last longer.  And crowned Supreme Champion at the #VirtualCheeseAwards 2021!  We love the Virtual Cheese Awards because over 400 artisan cheeses are judged live, online by professional foodies, and it’s really helpful to understand how your cheese is perceived.  

Recommended Retail Price is £6-8 depending on where you buy your cheese (hello Mayfair..)

If you want to buy several of these cheeses we recommend buying five or more units of this or any other cheese or T shirt on this website which then we can post to you for £40 including P&P.   Otherwise the postage is too onerous as it costs us £7.80 for next day delivery using DHL before we’ve packed in an insulated box, with an ice pack etc.  

You can also mix and match any of our cheeses in a box sent to you, though if you do this, you could just buy one of Four Cheese Coffers which includes a free pack of biscuits….
